The sketch of a polar bear on the invitation to the autumn-winter show by German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld was already a big hint. For his Chanel show on Tuesday, March 9, he erected a huge iceberg in the middle of the glass-domed Grand Palais in Paris to mark his Arctic theme. The models emerged in fake furs and splashed through puddles in knee high yeti boots to keep out the chill.
