Several killed in Islamabad blast
In Pakistan's capital Islamabad, a suicide bomber has killed at least 12 people in an attack timed to coincide with a public gathering. The bomber targeted a group of police, killing at least 10. Security forces had been deployed to maintain order as thousands of Pakistani Islamists gathered at the site of the Red Mosque to mark the day the complex was stormed a year ago. More than 100 people were in the raid which ended a week long stand-off after gunmen from inside clashed with police.
