Polar Prize
Großansicht des Bildes mit der Bildunterschrift: The Polar Prize is Sweden's biggest music award and is named for the label founded by former ABBA manager Stig Anderson.
Legendary British rock group Pink Floyd and American soprano Renee Fleming have split this year's Polar Music Prize. The awards were handed out by Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf in Stockholm on Tuesday. The two winners each receive a million Swedish kronor, worth about 107,000 euros. The award committe hailed Pink Floyd for capturing "the mood of a whole generation."
