So it adds up to this: we’ll stop our transmission via Intelsat 10-02 (IS10-02) on 30 September 2006. Please make sure you’ve shifted your reception hardware to Atlantic Bird 3 (AB 3) by then.

All it takes to enjoy good reception is a dish diameter of approximately 2 metres and a digital satellite receiver. The hardware you already use to receive Deutsche Welle on Intelsat 10-02 (IS10-02) will, in most cases, work perfectly on Atlantic Bird 3 (AB 3). But it’s important for you to adapt your hardware to the above parameters until September 30th.
