to the limit: Veritas
In international sports car racing of the post-war era--the "Veritas" was measure of all things: the unusally flat racer took more than 20 German championships. Developed three former BMW employees, the company declared bankruptcy in 1953. Now an international team of racing enthusiasts have resurrected the vehicle in Germany. The "RS III" is only prototype right now. But starting next year they plan to make it street legal. Buyers of the 385-thousand euro vehicle will own M-Technik engine from BMW with 600 Horsepower with a maximum speed of 347 km/h and capable of acclerating from zero to 100 in just 3.2 Seconds all packed into carbon chassis just 97 centimeters off the ground.
