European sensibility versus the Japanese "Zoom-Zoom"-Feeling.  In our efforts to find the best compact car this time we pit the Ford Focus against the Mazda 3.  At first glance, the radiator grill of the Focus juts out.  The curves are smooth from the headlights to the rear lights everything is in tune.  The Mazda3 is an acceptable vehicile with a beautiful clear form and almost a smile on its grill.  Drive it! tests both.
