Search

To start a search, please enter one or more keywords in the search box and then click on the "search" button. You can only search in one language at a time. When entering several keywords at once, only pages containing all the key words appear. You can limit a search by adding keywords. The search engine is not case sensitive.

You can type in punctuation marks (e.g. ? or ") when using the DW-WORLD.DE search engine.

A question mark (?) can be used to indicate if a particular character is of no importance. Example: "?op" will list results containing the letters "op."

Search terms that are surrounded by quotation marks (" ") will only generate results that include the exact combination and sequence of search terms. Example: If you type "Deutsche Welle," you will only find listings in which "Deutsche" is directly followed by "Welle."

When using the search function at the top of the page, the initial query only looks for matches in the title of an article. If you want to execute a full text search, please click through to the advanced search formula where you can enter a time frame and/or a specific category.
