Why is DW-TV broadcast in German, English, Spanish and Arabic?
Deutsche Welle is an international broadcasting service with listeners, viewers and users all over the world interested in the German and European perspective to current topics.
In order to reach as many people as possible world-wide it is vitally important that we broadcast our programs in other widely used languages. At present, DW-TV broadcasts in German, English, Spanish and Arabic. DW-RADIO broadcasts in as many as 28 languages and our internet platform DW-WORLD.DE offers content in as many as 30 languages.
